What the hell with my smile in the white one??? WHYYYY am I showing my bottom teeth?!!!

I got the link to my graduation portraits today. There are about 15 photos. I have to choose one with a white background (license photo, I believe) and one with a blue background (class composite). I’m considering choosing that white one because it’s the most ridiculous looking one… and I’m a pretty ridiculous person.

I’ve been slacking on my GPOYWs. Here’s a SAD MONDAY photo, wrinkled scrubs edition. I don’t think Sad Monday is an official picture day, but it should be… I’m pretty sure everyone hates Mondays.

Thanksgiving weekend is over and finals begin next week. I’ve got a quiz today, two papers due this week, and a project submission due Wednesday. I’ve gotta go to school two and a half hours early to work on that project with my group and print up case studies for lab… Woohoo!

Thanksgiving weekend: Hanging out with my mom and Gracie the bald eagle! Gracie lives at a wildlife rehabilitation center because she fell out of a 60 foot tree when she was a baby and has a mangled wing. She can not survive in the wild so my mom helps take care of her!

I’m not really one for SPOILERS but I’ve got to rant about a few scenes. This might sorta kinda give a couple things away so uhhh read at your own discretion I guess.

Ok, so now that Christine Hill supposedly has a … uh… purpose, i still think her boobies are completely irrelevant. I know that boobies usually aren’t usually relevant anyway, but these boobies in particular are bothering me. I’m just really annoyed with the producers trying to kill episode time by showing these gross random Quinn/Hill sex scenes. All season her dumb character has just been there to meet Showtime’s “boobie quota”. I get that. I just find it a bit much?

What the hell is up with the scene transitions? It stars off with relevant conversations to a 9 second scene of Arthur hammering or sawing, then cuts back to a scene at the police station, then cuts to someone washing dishes for 8 seconds, then cuts to Misuka’s doofy laugh for .04 seconds, then cuts to… yeah. Maybe I’m the only one noticing. Obviously a slight exaggeration but whatever.

AWwwwWwww the LaGuerada and Batista scenes are so0o0o0o00oooo CUTE….. the first 100 episodes. Ok, I’m done caring now.. MOVING ON.

Is it just me, or is there WAYYYY too much Harry? I know he’s got a huge influence on Dexter and all, but do they really need to have Harry/Dexter conversations 80 times per episode? It just seems to be really excessive.

“SHUT UP, CUNT”. Not gonna lie, I lol’d. The terrified/awkward family thing happened way too fast, in my opinion. I just thought it was sorta random and it honestly didn’t really do anything for me except give me a couple laughs. Then all of a sudden this family is SCARED OF DEXTER immediately after, uhhhh, possibly saving this kid’s life… and then they all hold Arthur lovingly close as if they didn’t just spend the entire day bitching about what a crazy asshole he is and didn’t just witness him strangle his son nearly to death. What the hell? I don’t know maybe it was just me and Michael that felt weird about the whole thing.

Who the hell is this neighbor? I know he’s there to cause ~character drama~ but uhhhhhhhhh what? Where the fuck did this guy even come from?????

Okay, that’s pretty much it. I’m a Dexter fan forevzzzz, but I needed to vent. COME BACK, LOST. I MISS YOU.

I was somewhat homesick and pathetic last night (as usual), so I went through some random year old clips of Matt and I and put together a three minute video compilation. Such adventures include Lake Ella, Rita’s Italian Ice, Publix, and random redneck children! Note that nothing said in the audio is an inside joke. We just don’t make sense.

Music is by Taken By Trees, “My Boys”. Yes, it’s an Animal Collective cover, and I like it better than the original.

Ugh, I miss Tallahassee and my best friends that come along with it. My awkward Miami personality has not gone away. I just want to be with Matt and Rachel and act stupid and listen to great music and drink coffee @ blackdog and go to bars where you don’t have to wear fucking heels, and everyone is awesome.

I know I’m supposed to think positive and make the best out of living in this city but I miss being myself.
