Happens once every 456 years.
OMG. This drives me nuts. There are lunar eclipses all the dang time. We’ve had 11 total lunar eclipses just in the past decade.
The distinction about this one is we haven’t had one on the winter solstice since the 1600’s, but no one besides gawthy teens going through their Wiccan phase actually cares about a solstice anyway.
